IMMSA is an open pit Manganese Mines located at about 750 km from the port of San Pedro. The mines is in Odiene region toward the north of Abidjan. The mines spreads over an area of 350 Sq km. Immsa has medium to high-grade vein deposit. It produces Battery grade Mn ore suitable for dry zinc cell batteries. IMMSA is setting up plant to produce calcined Manganese ore to be used by cattle, agriculture and chemical industry . The plant should have a capacity of 75,000 Mt per year and should be operational by June 2021.
